This Drumm Design Remodel client wanted to replace a bar area that was the prior owners DIY project. The existing space lacked storage and was lacking in visual appeal. The solid wood bar top was also not finished properly and was no longer flat. Drumm Design Remodel started by removing the cabinetry, bar top and tile floor. When removing the tile a musty odor was detected and a leak in a nearby waste line was discovered. After repairing the pipe, new drywall was installed and finished. New cabinets were installed including a false front to hide a crawlspace access. A custom framed mirror and crown moulding were installed to finish off the wall. New granite counters and tile floors were installed to complete the project. While Drumm Design Remodel was on site a small powder room in the basement was also remodeled.
