This Conshohocken, PA client wanted to finish an area of their basement for an entertainment room. Drumm Design Remodel went through the design stage to find the best use of the space and went with an open layout to allow for the most flexibility. The basement had an existing egress window which made the finishing very straight forward. A drop ceiling was installed to allow access above the ceiling and to work around the home's existing sprinkler heads, saving the homeowner money in the process. The sump pit was enclosed to hide it from view and we added a stained wood lid to allow access and to minimize the space lost in the room.
